33 women who represent their respective provinces will compete for the crown as Miss Indonesia 2012. The slogan of this prestigious contest is “All Eyes on you”.

Miss Indonesia 2012 Contest is organized by the MNC through Miss Indonesia Foundation supported by the cosmetic company Sari Ayu. Beauty contest is intended to prepare the figure of a woman who would become the ambassador of Indonesia’s social, cultural, and economic development in international forums.

“The 33 finalists were selected through a difficult and rigorous, because these women have the potential and advantages of each as well as both physical and inner beauty,” said Liliana Tanoesoedibjo Organization chairwoman of Miss Indonesia at a press conference 33 Finalists of Miss Indonesia 2012 in Hard Rock Cafe, Central Jakarta, Friday (04/20/2012) then.

To clinch the title as Miss Indonesia 2012, the finalists will perform a process of quarantine for 13 days. During this quarantine period they will get a briefing from a variety of experts in the field of psychology, social, beauty, public speaking and modeling.

Besides equipping of professional mentors, they also will get a briefing from Kementerian Pemberdayaan Wanita dan Perlindungan Anak(Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection) , as well as Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif ( the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy)

This will be crowned Miss Indonesia on Saturday (04/28/2012) future. Besides Miss Indonesia, there are several categories of winners are chosen to be champion runner-up I, II runner up, miss friendship, miss favorites, miss lifestyle, healhty miss, miss beautiful skin, and also miss online.

On the night of the coronation of the theme The Beauty of Archipelago will also be attended by Miss World 2011, Ivian Sarcos from Venezuela who will be present along with the chairwoman of Miss World Organization and the International President of Variety, the Children’s Charity, Julia Morley.

“Their arrival is indirectly proved that the existence and the beauty of women in Indonesia have started to be noticed by the world. In addition, this event was also been recognized internationally,” added Liliana.

Admittedly, not easy to choose one of 33 finalists for each have their respective advantages. However, a woman who will represent Indonesia should not only physically beautiful but also has inner beauty, intelligent, and spirited Indonesia.

The judges of Miss Indonesia 2012 Contest that will choose a young woman to bear the title of Miss Indonesia, among others, Liliana Tanoesoedibjo, Dr. Martha Tilaar, Dr. Harry Darsono, Ferry Salim, and Adam Chesnoff.

Indonesian Idol 2012

The elimination round followed by the 52 contestants was held in the format of singing together in groups. Each group consists of 3-5 people so that there were 12 group.

Each group sang a song chosen by lottery. 7 songs available in this second elimination round as follows:

After obtaining the appropriate song all participants tried to practice singing as well as their performance to insure that all member of each group memorize the song very well. they sang appropriate training set. Performed immediately after their training and assessment conducted by the judges.

Act as a judges in this round are Ahmad Dhani (composer and singer), Anang Hermansyah (composer and singer), and Agnes Monica (singer).

From the results of this selection has been eliminated as many as 25 people and the remaining 27 people will proceed to the third  elimination round which will take place on Friday, March 30, 2012.

20 beautiful participants will be tested and elected by the judges to become Miss Celebrity Indonesia 2011. Director of Programs and Production SCTV Harsiwi Achmad explained, Thursday (27/10), the Miss Celebrity Indonesia 2011 intends to consistently provide a golden bridge. Thus providing opportunities for women with multiple talents who want to plunge in the entertainment world.

“With the Miss Celebrity Indonesia, the SCTV find and create a new celebrity with multiple talents who are expected to exist in the world of entertainment,” said Harsiwi.
