Miss Indonesia 2012 Contest (final phase) will be held in Jakarta Indonesia to select the most beautiful, smart, intelligent and the best behavior.

33 women who represent their respective provinces will compete for the crown as Miss Indonesia 2012. The slogan of this prestigious contest is “All Eyes on you”.

Miss Indonesia 2012 Contest is organized by the MNC through Miss Indonesia Foundation supported by the cosmetic company Sari Ayu. Beauty contest is intended to prepare the figure of a woman who would become the ambassador of Indonesia’s social, cultural, and economic development in international forums.

“The 33 finalists were selected through a difficult and rigorous, because these women have the potential and advantages of each as well as both physical and inner beauty,” said Liliana Tanoesoedibjo Organization chairwoman of Miss Indonesia at a press conference 33 Finalists of Miss Indonesia 2012 in Hard Rock Cafe, Central Jakarta, Friday (04/20/2012) then.

To clinch the title as Miss Indonesia 2012, the finalists will perform a process of quarantine for 13 days. During this quarantine period they will get a briefing from a variety of experts in the field of psychology, social, beauty, public speaking and modeling.

Besides equipping of professional mentors, they also will get a briefing from Kementerian Pemberdayaan Wanita dan Perlindungan Anak(Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection) , as well as Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif ( the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy)

This will be crowned Miss Indonesia on Saturday (04/28/2012) future. Besides Miss Indonesia, there are several categories of winners are chosen to be champion runner-up I, II runner up, miss friendship, miss favorites, miss lifestyle, healhty miss, miss beautiful skin, and also miss online.

On the night of the coronation of the theme The Beauty of Archipelago will also be attended by Miss World 2011, Ivian Sarcos from Venezuela who will be present along with the chairwoman of Miss World Organization and the International President of Variety, the Children’s Charity, Julia Morley.

“Their arrival is indirectly proved that the existence and the beauty of women in Indonesia have started to be noticed by the world. In addition, this event was also been recognized internationally,” added Liliana.

Admittedly, not easy to choose one of 33 finalists for each have their respective advantages. However, a woman who will represent Indonesia should not only physically beautiful but also has inner beauty, intelligent, and spirited Indonesia.

The judges of Miss Indonesia 2012 Contest that will choose a young woman to bear the title of Miss Indonesia, among others, Liliana Tanoesoedibjo, Dr. Martha Tilaar, Dr. Harry Darsono, Ferry Salim, and Adam Chesnoff.

On coronation night, the finalists of Miss Indonesia 2012 Contest had the opportunity to use the beautiful clothing designs from talented designers such as Marga Alam Indonesia, Rebecca Ing, Hengki Kawilarang, Rudy Liem, Erdan, Rev. Elizabeth, beautiful accessories from Yuling (Le Ciel) and shoes from Yongki Komaladi.

Miss Celebrity Indonesia  Contest which began in 20o8 will be conducted annually.
